The countdown is on for the British Transplant Games!
With only one week to go before the British Transplant Games take place in Nottingham, Extra MSA Group is proud to be one of the sponsors for the event. This is the third consecutive year that we have supported the Games.
The event aims to raise awareness around the urgent need for organ donation, encouraging people to join the transplant community and help save lives across the UK. Transplant patients and volunteers will take part in 25+ different sports across the four days to encourage others to stay active and show their support for the hospitals where they’ve received their transplant.
This year marks the 46th anniversary of the British Transplant Games, which will be in Nottingham for the first time. Organised by MLS Contracts on behalf of the charity Transplant Sport, and supported by Westfield Health, the event attracts over 2,500 participants. This year will also honour the 50th anniversary of Anthony Nolan, the charity advocating for stem cell transplants nationally.
