Harry Ramsden’s has returned to the UK motorway network with the opening of a new restaurant at our Baldock services, bringing the iconic British fish and chip brand to one of the busiest routes in the east of England.
Founded in West Yorkshire in 1928, the chain has earned a reputation for its “world-famous fish and chips”. Serving their signature hand-battered, freshly cooked fish and beef-dripping chips, alongside a range of on-the-go favourites, customers will now have even more choice as we continue investing in high-quality roadside hospitality.
Harry Ramsden’s joins a strong mix of leading food, retail and leisure brands on site including McDonalds, KFC, Chopstix, GDK, Starbucks, Greggs, M&S Food, WH Smith and El Mexicana.
Tom Dobson, Chief Executive of Extra MSA, said: “Harry Ramsden’s is an iconic British brand and we’re pleased to welcome it to Baldock Services. We’ve introduced a number of well-known brands to the motorway network in recent years, including McDonald’s, GDK and Nando’s, so it’s great to support Harry Ramsden’s return and give customers even more choice.
“We regularly review customer feedback to help shape our food, drink and retail mix, ensuring that a broad range of brands is available to meet the needs of all travellers. The addition of Harry Ramsden’s reflects that approach and further strengthens the offer available at this key location.”
