Continuing our partnership with GRIDSERVE, we’ve installed an additional 42 new high-speed EV chargers across our EV Super Hubs at our Peterborough and Cobham locations – making the motorway network more sustainable!
We now have an additional 24 charging bays at our Cobham services and 18 charging bays at our Peterborough services. This brings the total to 48 high-power chargers at both services through our ongoing partnership with IONITY and GRIDSERVE. The chargers will be capable of supplying 400kW, enabling drivers with the latest car models to add over 100 miles of range in less than 10 minutes.
The new additions at our Cobham and Peterborough site are part of a number of installations that have happened as part of the Super Hubs partnership with GRIDSERVE, including at our Baldock, Beaconsfield and Cambridge locations. Each installation enables our customers nationwide to access a minimum of 12 high-power GRIDSERVE chargers per location – with further EV charger expansions occurring at the network’s Leeds and Cullompton sites throughout 2026.
We’ve established ourselves as the leading motorway services provider when it comes to EV charging, having been the first to surpass the government’s targets of installing at least six chargers at each of its service areas.
Now the UK’s most-used public charging network, GRIDSERVE is once again setting new standards in speed, reliability, convenience and accessibility through our ongoing collaboration.
