One of the UK’s largest service areas, Cobham Services (M25 J9/10), is set to expand its offering with the much-anticipated arrival of Pret a Manger on Monday 26th February. The renowned brand, celebrated for its commitment to freshly made food and organic coffee, is currently in the final stages of its fit-out.
Cobham Services welcomes Pret a Manger to its diverse lineup, joining popular establishments like LEON, PizzaExpress, and Starbucks. The new outlet is poised to enhance the already strong offering, with an array of delicious options available, and will positively contribute to the local economy, creating an expected 16 jobs.
Cobham Services, recognised as one of the busiest service areas in the UK, is not only a pit stop for delicious meals but also a family-friendly destination. The service station features a dedicated children’s play area, a hotel, and an expanded electric vehicle (EV) charger offering, catering to the evolving needs of its visitors.
Pret a Manger was first founded in 1986 and has grown to operate nearly 700 outlets worldwide. The brand recently made headlines with the introduction of a children’s menu, demonstrating its commitment to serving a broader and more diverse customer base.
As well as Cobham, Extra MSA currently operates seven other MSAs across England at Baldock (A1(M) J10); Beaconsfield (M40 J2); Blackburn with Darwen (M65 J4); Cambridge (A14(M11) J24); Cullompton (M5 J28); Leeds Skelton Lake (M1 J45) and Peterborough (A1(M) J17).
In last year’s Transport Focus Motorway Service Users survey Extra MSA was crowned Britain’s number one motorway service operator, having ranked top of the “big four” for overall customer satisfaction.
