The results are in: celebrating fantastic feedback from our young visitors at Cobham
Through our ongoing collaboration with social value specialist Ahead Partnership, we have been able to deliver various initiatives which have been carefully designed to help to connect young people to new opportunities.
Most recently, we opened up our Cobham site to local primary school students to allow them to gain greater insights into ecology and biodiversity. Volunteers from Extra MSA supported in the delivery of the sessions, which involved a range of exciting, hands-on activities, to help participants engage with the brief at hand.
The results are in! Here is what our young participants thought about our session:
- 100% of students had a positive experience of the day.
- 100% of students said that the day’s activities helped them understand about the environment at Cobham Services.
- 100% of students said the day’s activities made them want to protect the environment.
- 81% of students said the day’s activities made them feel proud of the area they live in.
- 91% of students said the day’s activities increased their understanding of different jobs.
Our CEO, Tom Dobson, said:
“We are so pleased to see the impact of our work with Ahead Partnership on those young people we are investing in and look forward to seeing how this session might impact on their future careers, in line with our wider ESG goals.”
Megan Lipp, Head of Growth at Ahead Partnership, said:
“This fantastic feedback from the participating students reflects the importance of our ongoing work with Extra MSA, and the impact that sessions such as this one can have on the attitudes, knowledge and awareness of those involved.
“We extend our thanks to all of those at Extra MSA who helped to bring this to life, and look forward to continuing our partnership moving forward.”
