We’ve always believed that motorway services should be more than just a pit-stop, and it seems we’re not the only ones who think so! Our Beaconsfield Services site has established a cult following among celebrities, media personalities and even politicians.
Ed Sheeran recently confirmed to Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby on the Capital Breakfast Show that Beaconsfield is his favourite UK service station, and he’s not the only musician to think so. Sam Smith, speaking to Hits Radio earlier in the year, confirmed that the M40 location is their favourite for a relaxing pitstop.
Chris Stark, a self-proclaimed motorway services enthusiast, joked on his Proper Tasty podcast that: “I’ve been on worse holidays than going to Beaconsfield services.”
And screenwriter Russell T Davies summed up the sentiment perfectly on social media: “Attention all Motorway Service Station fans. Which is everyone, yes? We found the BEST. Beaconsfield Services[…] If I go missing, search Beaconsfield. It is heaven on earth.”
Even politicians are among its admirers, with former PM Rishi Sunak being papped getting a McDonalds breakfast at Beaconsfield during his 2024 election campaign.
