At Extra Motorway Service Areas we’re going the extra mile to make sure your visit is safe, so you might notice some changes when you visit.
All our service areas have designated entrances and exits to help ensure you can keep your distance from other customers
We may have to limit numbers of people entering our buildings during peak times for a short while, please bear with us.
FACE COVERINGS ARE NOW
MANDATORY IN OUR BUILDINGS
To help keep others safe wearing a face covering is mandatory in all our amenity buildings, drive thru’s and fuel filling stations.
You may remove your face covering whilst dining in, in any of our brand outlets and food court seating areas.
Children under the age of 11 are exempt and there may be other exemption reasons within government guidelines .

There is clear directional guidance once you’re inside
Please follow any directional signage around the services, which is there to help with social distancing and queuing.
Members of our staff are on hand to help you with any questions you might have.
Please be kind, they are always doing their best.
Sanitizer Stations and Hand Washing
Throughout our buildings and at each entrance & exit you fill find hand sanitizer stations.
Please make sure you wash your hands regularly and adhere to any other guidance put in place within our washrooms and digital media screens
We are cleaning even more than usual
You might notice our teams working even harder than usual to keep our services appropriately clean for your visit
With enhanced cleaning in areas such as high contact points, internal & external seating and washrooms.
Test and Trace
within our buildings
We have introduced a QR code or SMS test system to support the NHS Test and Trace.
Government in England have made this mandatory by law from 18th September 2020
If you stay with us for 15 minutes or more please register your attendance with us.
Data is storage is GDPR compliant & stored for 21 days and then deleted. This data is not shared with anyone other than NHS Test & Trace.
You will also see other safety measures
Our brand outlet partners will be wearing PPE such as gloves and face coverings whilst working, they’ll be health checked before they begin work and often will work in a safe socially distanced environment wherever possible
You will find screens at payment terminals and you may be asked to use ordering kiosks and use contact less payments wherever possible
And please, don’t enter our premises if you are showing symptoms of COVID19
