Extra Service Areas

remain open nationwide

To support the safe and efficient operation of

the Strategic Road Network, all Extra ‘umbrella branded’ Service

Areas, inclusive of the Fuel Filling Stations and Amenity Buildings remain

open. This is in accordance with consultations as held over the last few days

with Highways England. We continue to regularly review our ongoing maintenance

of intensified high standards of cleaning and other appropriate hygiene

regimes, both mandatory and as recommended on a precautionary basis.

Each Amenity Building has Limited Food & Beverage brands, M&S Simply Food available, but with the central and other seating areas within each Amenity Building

currently being temporarily closed. However, all customer WC & Washroom/Shower facilities remain

open, together with all parking areas for each category of vehicle at all Extra 'Umbrella branded' Service Areas.

A Limited amount of food & beverage brands remain open within our amenity buildings for takeaway service only.

All our Fuel Filling Stations remain open 24/7.

All our Toilet and Washroom facilities remain open 24/7

We would politely ask our customers to respect the Governments advice on hand washing and social distancing whilst visiting our premises.

With convenient parking and high quality facilities, all Extra Service Areas are designed to make Coach stops as easy and stress-free as possible.


All our Service Areas have a great choice of popular food and drink brands. Choose from popular outlets including McDonald’s, Nando’s, KFC, Chopstix, Pizza Express, El Mexicana, Chozen Sushi, Harry Ramsden, JD Wetherspoon, Wrapchic and Chozen Noodle.


If you just fancy a coffee, tea and a tasty snack, head to Costa or Starbucks. Choose from retailers including M&S Simply Food, West Cornwall Pasty Co, Bakehouse or Greggs.


You’ll also find quality retailers including Top Gift and WH Smith.



High-quality WC and Washroom facilities are also an essential element of your stop-off, and we take care to ensure you can access award-winning standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

If you’re a coach driver or tour operator, we’ll work hard to build a strong relationship with you to make sure you visit us time and time again. Our Coach Driver Loyalty scheme rewards drivers with a meal voucher to use at various outlets when you bring 20 or more passengers to a Service Area*. Just see a member of Extra staff on your arrival and they’ll be happy to help.
